The older person’s bus pass is awarded when you reach the female State Pension age of 66. It does not matter if you’re a man or a woman.

Older person’s pass

Bus passes are issued by Transport for the West Midlands.

You can apply for the older person’s bus pass up to 4 weeks before you turn 66 years of age.
